Veena Ravi has been collecting dolls for 20-25 years. At her home in Basavanagudi, she has recreated the underwater city of Dwarka using over 6,000 Dasara figurines. Each year, a new theme is curated using the figurines to narrate a story from Hindu mythology. This year's theme is Dwarka, the sacred city believed to have submerged under the Arabian Sea as Lord Krishna departed. This annual family tradition has now become a local attraction, drawing around 100 visitors daily during Dasara. The preparation for the display begins months ahead, with the figurines being meticulously arranged starting from August to ensure every detail is perfect.
